Year-end giving: a partnership that feeds the soul.

While revenues are down in many service areas, there’s good news on the philanthropy front. According NonProfit Hub, donors continue to give and plan on closing the year out strong. This article provides some solid tips for planning your year-end appeals. For me, it made me think about the relationship between non profit organizations and their donors.

At the most basic level, donors chose organizations in alignment with their values. They have a vision of a better world and know they can maximize their impact by partnering with effective organizations.

The pandemic has left many people feeling helpless and disconnected. So much is out of our day-to-day control. Like many of us, donors are craving connection. They want to see that they are part of your team in making a difference. Make sure to infuse your communications with those messages of impact and partnership.
